Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules for using Fraudcache services. Fraudcache is a company registered in the Netherlands. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Permitted Use

You may use Fraudcache for:

  • Checking IP reputation for security purposes
  • Integrating our blocklist feeds into your security infrastructure
  • Submitting legitimate dispute requests for incorrectly listed IPs
  • Academic and security research with proper attribution

2. Prohibited Use

You may not use Fraudcache to:

  • Submit false or fraudulent dispute claims
  • Attempt to manipulate or game our reputation scoring
  • Harass or threaten individuals based on IP listings
  • Reverse engineer our algorithms or data sources
  • Exceed API rate limits or circumvent access controls
  • Redistribute our data without attribution
  • Use automated tools to scrape our website
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws

3. Dispute Submissions

When submitting disputes, you must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Have legitimate authority over the IP address in question
  • Not submit duplicate or spam disputes
  • Respond to follow-up requests within a reasonable time

4. API Usage

When using our API, you must:

  • Respect rate limits as documented
  • Authenticate using valid API keys
  • Not share API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Not attempt to bypass authentication or rate limiting
  • Cache responses appropriately to reduce unnecessary requests

5. Signal Submissions

If you contribute abuse signals or reports:

  • Submit only genuine, verified abuse data
  • Do not submit fabricated or malicious reports
  • Include accurate timestamps and evidence where possible

6. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Warning and request to cease the violating activity
  • Temporary suspension of API access
  • Permanent account termination
  • Legal action in serious cases

Fraudcache reserves the right to take action at its sole discretion without prior notice.
